I became involved with NTLP because my dad, Daniel Medal, participated in 1993. He urged me to go, so I attended in 2010 and my life was forever changed. I have some of the best memories from NTLP and have made lifelong friends that continue to be my support system to this very day. My last year as a participate was in 2013 and I have been coming back to volunteer every year since. I am now involved all year round as an Advisory Board and Alumni Committee Member. I have so much love in my heart for this organization that as I write this my eyes are beginning to tear up.
I learned many things as a participant, but I also continue to learn and grow as I proceed to work with NTLP. I am a better leader, listener, daughter, sister, friend, and overall human being because of NTLP. I am making this page and urging you to donate because it is so important for NTLP to continue working with today's youth; the youth are our future. I work and breathe NTLP in honor of my four younger siblings: Kris, Kloe, Brayden, and Danny. I want them to be able to grow up in a world filled with love and opportunity; I want them to take risk and go for their dreams with everything they have; and I want them to have the chance to attend NTLP so they can learn to always have an open heart and open mind.
